Speak into your phone — the translation shows up large on screen and is read aloud.

What it does

Show it across the table

The translation opens full screen in large type — just turn the phone towards the other person. Playback is one tap away.

Text translation

Type and the translation appears as you go, no “Translate” button. Copy it or listen to it when done.

Nothing gets lost

Every conversation is kept on your phone. If the connection drops, the line stays and can be translated again.

About

Prevodi is made for talking face to face — at the doctor’s, in a shop, in a taxi: press your button, speak, and the translation is already on screen and out loud. It works both ways; the other person answers into the same phone.

Also

  • Two mics — “Me” and “Them”

Each person speaks into their own button, so the direction can’t get mixed up. You can start the next line while the last one is still translating.

  • Camera

Point it at a sign or a menu and tap “Translate all” — the translation lands right on top of the text.

What leaves your computer

To translate, Prevodi sends your voice recording or text to my server, and from there to OpenAI, which handles speech recognition, translation and speech output. You don’t need a key of your own — it stays on the server.

The camera recognises text on the phone itself; only the recognised text leaves it for translation. The server logs the language pair and the length of the text, not the words. Conversations are stored on your phone.
